ABSTRACT:
Water is the universally accepted mantra of life, which is becoming more effective in the present times. In modern life, per capita water consumption is increasing rapidly, water is being used indiscriminately in industries, due to the changed lifestyle in the present times, water consumption per person has increased manifold, then there is a need to return to the traditional Indian lifestyle because people living according to the original Indian lifestyle used much less water compared to today's modern people. Living a simple and easy life, these people used water in such a way that the water consumed in the environment was recharged. A survey of the regions based on India's water management shows that many districts of Saurashtra and Kutch have been areas affected by the problem of water scarcity. The lifestyle of the local people living in these areas is based on the economical use of water, and environmental protection is woven into the folk culture. For example, farmers of Saurashtra and Kutch used to grow crops that grow with less water, such as millet, millet, oilseed crops, castor, cotton, and other crops, along with trees that grow with less water, and by using a brush instead of a brush, less water was consumed, most of the agriculture was rain-fed. Due to which groundwater was tapped judiciously.
